Happy Anniversy ESF!

Greetings everyone, Well here we are. ESF is 6 years old in this month of February and what can I say but WOW. Poor Bastard and I were just talking a weeks ago about how we both can remember sitting down and trying out different Clan tags for ESF and discussing the rules for the clan. As always people have come and gone and some have come again. A few are still AFK and most likely we will never see them again but they are all missed. We have a lot of new members, a great bunch overall and we have an awesome group of regulars that have grown along with us. It�s great that we have such a group and a good following. I think it�s great that we have just as much activity on our forums as we do on our servers. I had always wanted us to have a strong forum presence as it gives us another way of expressing ourselves and getting to know our fellow players. ESF is in the middle of planning our second annual LAN party. It looks to be even bigger and better then our first and we hope we can continue to have them. I think I�m done rambling on now so I will say in closing: Congrats to ESF on our 6 years of awesomeness and let�s look forward to many more. - ShadowKat

ESF hlstats

Yes, our hlstats are down and we are aware of the issue. Our famous admin Peagle is looking in to the issue and we hope to have it resolved quickly. In the mean time, why not take a look at our forums? Give us some ideas of what you'd like to see from the ESF community, website updates, weekly features, whatever... We are open to all ideas

Wow! Look at all the new shiny servers!

After much discussion, and some debate, Clan |ESF| decided to make a change in the way we hosted our CS:S Servers. We did some financial calculations and looked over our treasury and decided on a new path. We have moved to running our own dedicated server box. This gives Clan |ESF| much more freedom when managing our own servers. Gives us full authority on the hardware box which allows us to tweak the hardware for maximum playing enjoyment. Because of this move we have expanded the number of servers we were running as well as the types of servers. We now host 2 CS:S 20 slot public servers, 1 CS:S GunGame public server, 1 FunTime CS:S public server and 1 TF2 Public server. Also we are currently running 2 CS:S private servers to support our 5 competition teams. Please check the section at the top of the website for all of our server IP/Ports. As always we hope you enjoy your stay with us.

Great CAL Season 7 for all ESF Teams!

On the tails of an awesome Clan |ESF| LAN Party, I want to congratulate all three |ESF| CAL teams for having truly great seasons. I know you all worked your butts off and it shows. <3 to you all. For Teams Juggernaut and Acies an awesome 5 and 3 record. For Team Invictus, I believe you will be continuing into the Playoffs with a 6 and 2 record. It's just short of unbelievable really to have three teams in CAL that have played so well. Did I mention you guys are awesome?! Again congrats to you all, and the best of luck to Team Invictus in the Playoffs!!!

First EVER Clan |ESF| LAN Party!

All, It is with great pride and excitement that I am announcing the up and coming first ever Clan |ESF| LAN Party!! This will be taking place in Columbus, Ohio March 16-18th. This has been months and months in the planning (and Poor and I still have tons of things to do) but we are finally going to get clan |ESF| together!!! We are, of course, planning to play CS:S, as well as some UT, COH, Quake Team Arena and whatever else shows up with the various ESF peeps coming. I believe someone is also bringing along an Xbox 360. Great Times will be had by all, plenty of pics will be take as well and once we all recover =D we will be posting them for all to see.

CAL Season Begins!

We are just one week away from the start of another CAL season! This time around the teams are being led by returning captain Fatcat, and new captains Mike999 and Arcadicgamer. All three squads are eager to go and we are looking forward to another productive season! We will be keeping you update on their progress as the weeks go by. Watch this space for more information.

As I am sure you all can see the site is back up and roaring to go. It's rocking and blazing fast. Thank you all for your patience while we undertook a major change and upgrade. Thanks to Templatepimps for hanging in there and make our move as smooth as possible. Please let us know if you run across any problems. I've enable the forum boards so post to your hearts content. ESF Website Migration

All, As you all know we have been experiencing a bit of site "unstableness" recently. Our hosts have been trying to work through this but have been crippled by poor support at the datacenter where the webserver has been housed. Because of this Templatepimps is going to change providers, which in turn means we will be changing providers. I wanted to let you all know in the news section because sometime today the forums will be taken down to preserve their data and make it easier to migrate them to the new host/server. I know...I know.....I heard all those groans and I also have been experiencing withdraws over the sluggishness of the forums but take heart, once this migration is finished we should be back up and at full strength, better and faster then before. This move will take place over the next 2 days and we should be fully moved and secure by the end of the week (barring any mishaps or disasters with the move).
